Raised on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, up and coming artist Jackson Villani has been singing and playing guitar from the age of 16. From hours of playing in his room everyday, self teaching and his determination to learn, he started writing his own music at 18 with laid back pop, jazz and blues influences. Inspired by the works of musicians and famous guitarists like John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Hozier, and Jamie Cullum, Jackson has been gigging since early 2015 and is currently in the process of recording his single after getting first place in the 2016 Battle of the Rising Stars competition in Noosa Heads, Queensland. Jackson wishes to play bigger venues, festivals and tours around Australia and eventually internationally.
